Best time to apply DIY salt wash treatment to your home:
Within 24 hours after heavy winds or storms, while salt is still on the surface and before it bonds into pores and accelerates corrosion.

Recommendation for Boats and vehicles:
Any boat launched at an ocean boat ramp, or vehicle driven on the sand or beach, should be treated with Salt Warrior immediately after the outing, don't wait for the next scheduled wash.
