How to use Coastal Home Salt Wash

Method 1

2L DIY SPRAY NOZZLE BOTTLE WITH GARDEN HOSE

PREPARATION

1. Connect Hose: With mains water turned OFF, snap garden hose fitting onto the back of the Spray Nozzle

2. Set Controls on Spray Nozzle: Ensure both control taps are turned OFF:
• Turn LARGE water flow tap clockwise to 12 o'clock position
• Turn SMALL soap flow tap clockwise to 12 o'clock position

3. Water Pressure: Turn ON garden mains tap to approximately 75% pressure (adjust higher if needed)

APPLICATION

4. Start Flow: Holding bottle securely, rotate LARGE water flow tap counter-clockwise to ON to start water flow

5. Introduce Foam: Rotate SMALL soap flow tap a few degrees counter-clockwise to introduce Salt Warrior into the water stream

6. Adjust Foam Density: Balance water flow and Salt Warrior pickup by adjusting both taps to create thick, rich foam coverage

7. Apply: Thoroughly saturate all external surfaces including walls, windows, gutters, AC units, outdoor furniture, and fixtures. Areas with heavier salt build-up may require longer soaking time

8. Stop Flow: Once completely covered, return SMALL soap tap to 12 o'clock (stops foam), then return LARGE water tap to 12 o'clock (stops water)

FINISHING

9. Contact Time: Allow 2-3 minutes for Salt Warrior to dissolve salt deposits and loosen accumulated grime

10. Final Rinse: Turn LARGE water flow tap back ON and rinse thoroughly with clean water, ensuring all foam and suds are completely removed

11. Final Check: For a spotless finish, use a quality microfibre cloth to remove any remaining water spots from windows

COVERAGE

One 2L bottle provides comprehensive cleaning for average coastal home exterior including walls, windows, gutters, and outdoor equipment (approximately 250m²).

IMPORTANT

This spray nozzle reaches 4-5 metres. For high set buildings and on windy days it is recommended to use the concentrated product added to a foam cannon attached to a pressure washer.

Never attach this spray nozzle to a pressure washer. It is designed to operate with domestic mains water pressure only.

Method 2

FOAM GUN WITH PRESSURE WASHER

Recommended for high-set or double story coastal homes

PREPARATION

1. Mix Solution: Add 50ml Salt Warrior Coastal Home Salt Wash to foam cannon bottle, fill with water

2. Connect: Attach foam cannon to pressure washer lance

3. Safety Check: Ensure stable footing and safe access to all areas to be cleaned

APPLICATION

4. Apply Salt Remover: Thoroughly saturate all external surfaces including walls, windows, gutters, AC units, outdoor furniture, and fixtures. Areas with heavier salt build-up may require longer soaking time

5. Contact Time: Allow 2-3 minutes contact time for salt dissolution

6. High-Pressure Rinse: Remove all salt remover with clean water rinse, working from top to bottom to prevent re-contamination

FINISHING

7. Final Check: For a spotless finish, use a quality microfibre cloth to remove any remaining water spots from windows
