Marine Engine Flush

Sale price$35.00

A concentrated marine engine flush that removes salt deposits and scale from cooling systems, water jackets, thermostats and exhaust components. Designed to circulate through your engine, dissolve buildup and leave a corrosion inhibiting residue to help protect against corrosion, overheating and failure.

Marine Engine Flush

Your engine's lifeline after every salt water run

Salt bakes onto engine internals where fresh water can’t reach, including water jackets, thermostats and exhaust manifolds. Over time it causes pitting, scale buildup and sticky thermostats that lead to overheating and failure. Salt Warrior Marine Engine Flush circulates deep into your cooling system, dissolves salt deposits and leaves a corrosion inhibiting residue on every surface it touches. Essential maintenance for every outboard, inboard and PWC that hits salt water.

Key Features

  • Elevate marine engine performance
  • Flushes salt from deep inside your engine
  • Break down and lift salt and mineral deposits
  • Safeguard critical components
  • Leaves a corrosion inhibitor on every surface it touches

How to use Marine Engine Flush

PREPARATION

  • Engine Flush Solution: Use Salt Warrior Marine Engine Flush (use undiluted — straight from the bottle)
  • Delivery Method: Garden hose with Engine Flush Mixer or direct addition to flush port
  • Safety: Ensure vessel is in safe location with adequate drainage

CRITICAL: PWC VS BOAT FLUSHING
SEQUENCES ARE OPPOSITE

Why the sequences differ:

  • PWCs: Use direct-drive jet pump. Water pressure can force water backward through exhaust into cylinders, causing hydrolocking and instant engine destruction.
  • Boats: Use rubber impeller water pump that will melt/shred in seconds if run dry.

Method 1:

Personal Watercraft (PWC) — Flush Port

  1. Connect: Remove cap from flush port and attach garden hose (water OFF)
  2. Add Solution: Add 50–60ml Salt Warrior Marine Engine Flush to mixer
  3. Start Engine: Start PWC engine FIRST and run at idle
  4. Start Water: Turn on garden hose to full flow (engine already running)
  5. Flush: Run for 60–90 seconds maximum — PWCs overheat quickly on land
  6. Blip Throttle: Give throttle 2–3 quick blips to clear water from exhaust box
  7. Shutdown: Turn OFF water first, then immediately turn OFF engine
  8. Complete: Disconnect hose and replace flush port cap
ENGINE FIRST, WATER SECOND — OR RISK HYDROLOCKING

Method 2:

Outboard Motor — Ear Muffs

  1. Position Muffs: Place flush muffs over water intake ports, ensuring tight seal
  2. Connect Hose: Attach garden hose to muffs
  3. Add Solution: Add 50–60ml Salt Warrior Marine Engine Flush to mixer and attach to flush line
  4. Start Water: Turn on water to FULL flow first (verify water reaching both intakes)
  5. Start Engine: Start engine and run at idle speed only
  6. Flush: Run for 5–10 minutes or until tell-tale water runs clear
  7. Shutdown: Turn OFF engine first, then turn OFF water
  8. Complete: Remove muffs and store engine per manufacturer recommendations
WATER FIRST, ENGINE SECOND — OR DESTROY IMPELLER
